Anna Gregg

A recent winner of the Plunket-Greene Cup, Feis Ceoil, Anna is a soprano, with a BMus(Hons) from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where she is continuing her studies, under the tutelage of Sarah Pring, on the Artist Master’s course. Her studies are generously supported by Guildhall and the Mario Lanza Education Foundation.

Anna recently performed as the soloist in the premiere of Matt Geer’s chamber opera ‘With Mixed Effects’, and was thrilled to bring the role of Amy Hitler to life in the debut of another of his contemporary operas, ‘Sane and Sound’. Other roles include: Adele, Die Fledermaus (Strauss), 2nd Lady, Die Zauberflöte (Mozart), Miles, The Turn Of the Screw (Britten), and Najade, Ariadne auf Naxos (Strauss), as part of GSMD scenes productions.

Concerts include: the London Philharmonic Orchestra in a concert production of ‘Guys and Dolls’, with West Green Opera; the London Philharmonia, Schoenberg’s Gurrelieder, as part of the ‘Festival de Saint Denis’, Paris; and Orchestra Rheia’s debut performance of Ein Deitches Requiem by Brahms.
