Highlights film and BBC Radio 3 Recitals coming in September/October

11th Festival of Voice 2021

11th Festival of Voice 2021

The Glenarm Festival of Voice, our annual celebration of voice and song, is now in its eleventh year. Last year we temporarily relocated to Belfast from the Festival’s home in Glenarm on the beautiful north coast of Antrim and this year due to ongoing Covid 19 restrictions, we once again held the Festival in Belfast between 27-29 August.

This year we were able to have a socially-distanced audience for both the Competition Finale in First Church Belfast and for our event in the Orpheus Ballroom, ‘Puccini and a Pint.

Unfortunately this year we were not able to have audiences at the BBC Radio 3 recitals, but these will be recorded in First Church Belfast and broadcast as four lunchtime recitals on BBC Radio 3 in the early Autumn featuring Ben McAteer (baritone), Kathryn Rudge (mezzo-soprano), Elizabeth Watts (soprano) with Simon Lepper (pianist).
